[WD] Game freeze at one point every time.

I get up to the part in Episode 1, chapter 7 I think it is where Doug, Carley and I are at the door that's boarded up.
The girl comes out, I have the conversation with her... She asks for the gun, I say no...
The game freezes.

This happened on the game I got from steam, so I re-installed the game from this website.... Same problem.
I have "verified integrity of game cache" because I originally couldn't even get to the starting menu screen, but that fixed that...
I was enjoying it until this...

PLEASE HELP! ANYONE :)

    I got it working after setting the shadows to "low" in the options menu.

    Same problem here at exactly the same point. I turned down everything, but the game still freezes when I make this choice.

    I've a Mac 2.5 GHz i5, 12 GB en AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512 MB. Bought the game directly at Telltale.

    Is there a solution? Or do I have to make another choice?

    I don't know if you're really with Doug, I'm with Glenn. But anyway, when I choose to give the gun the game doesn't freezes. But it was not the option I would like to choose...
