Change the date on the calendar to Easter, then look in the golf hole outside.

Well the most obvious one being Doug being a former employee of TTG...

He's joking. That was an easter egg(and a rather cleverly hidden one) in one of the Sam and Max games.

That kind of is an easter egg. An easter egg is basically any hidden little joke/reference, and while not that hidden, still an easter egg.

    I would think so :D

I know I had seen that before the office door (not in game), but cannot remember where.

it's the counterpart to the original and often used "DEAD INSIDE" i guess.
that might be the phrase you remember from outside the game, too. ;)

i just googled the "alive inside" and found an achievement for starcraft 2 (never played the game btw), maybe you've seen it there?:

Duck talking to Clementine about Super Dinosaur at the end of episode one. Super Dinosaur is another comic book Robert Kirkman writes

Probably the counterpart reference to the comic I am remembering, the stopping life. Thanks for the reminder :)

In the Motel parking lot. There is that truck u hide by and the lisence plate on the back says "Shit Happens" I thought that was funny.

In the motel Parking lot. There's a RV that remembers quite a lot from Dale's. :D

    104, Abe Lincoln Must Die!

Speaking with the officer at the beginning, there's a reference to "Law & order", a TV show and another Telltale's game.

He tells something like "I let the Law to others, I am dedicated to Order".

    Very very subtle. :)

EDIT: Oh, and the prisoner story at the beginning with the officer too. He's speaking about a character from the comic book.

He's referring to this feller. http://walkingdead.wikia.com/wiki/Thomas_Richards
I really don't get how he is though but that's what I've heard.
When Duck is describing "Super Dinosaur", that's from an Image comic also created by Kirkman.

I'm trying hard to think of another easter egg. We're not counting the greeting cards or poster board right?

    Yeah, that guy.

I've read and listen what Lee said when he looks at it. I've read the posters near the entrance and I don't find anything. Maybe the poster ad from IT support it's from Doug.

I wonder if the cup of tea with bourbon it's some kind of easter egg.

There's a really obvious, yet clever one in episode 2. One of the achievements is "you fight like a dairy farmer", which is one of the insult swordfighting lines from The Secret of Monkey Island. :)

I also just noticed the bearalope on Doug's shirt in episode 1. I have no idea how that one slipped past me when I played the game. I love the bearalope! :D

Cool find, I also played Monkey's Island (a great funny game I must add) and I did not noticed that.

You people need to take a good look at episode one. When you take the spark plug from the car and then roll the car in to the zombie, take a good look at that zombie.

Just tell us. People are too lazy to replay the game up to that point.

If every person to have lost his hand counts as a reference, might as well throw in the skywalker family :D

So I was messing around with my games save after Kenny pissed me off in episode 2. Explaining to my girlfriend why I was yelling 'screw you Kenny at the screen' after she looked at me like I was crazy for screaming my own name... But anyway. Did anyone else notice the bumper sticker on the pickup in the motor inn toward the episode 1 ending reads "sh*t happens"?
    Any other hidden jokes?
  • edited August 2012
Welcome to the forums, Kenne. I admit I found the bumper sticker a bit funny with the whole motor inn situation. Seems like we both share hatred of Kenny.
  • edited August 2012
Time to rename the F*** Kenny thread to "F*** Kenny with a Y".

So, episode 3, and Banang makes a comeback! :D A bottle of banang is sitting in the cup holder in the RV. :)

And of course, there's the Batman and Robin reference.
