[WD] Game Freeze

I am playing episode 1 on my mac and it keeps freezing when I am talking to the person who was trapped at the Motel. Anyone have a tip?

    Yeah this game has frozen several times when I play the mac version

    Despite restarting several times, I can not get past this one point and the game freezes every time.
