Is there going to be a hardcopy/physical release of The Walking Dead?

I've really enjoyed the Deluxe Edition releases of Jurassic Park and Back to the Future and always purchase TellTale's games on disc. Will the Walking Dead be making its way onto PC-DVD or will it remain strictly as a digital download?

    I hope there is a deluxe version with cool things with it.... like a bag of hammers

    I really do hope they do. I can't say it enough. That's one thing that has always set Telltale apart from other developers. I love making of stuff and love how when a season is over you get a disc with the game and that stuff.

    The only games that haven't had a physical release are Poker Night, Puzzle Agent, Law & Order and Hecter. I imagine a physical release is highly likely, but this has not been announced yet. Fingers crossed for a Deluxe Edition like my Tomi, JP and BTTF though, A Walking Dead deluxe edition would be VERY sweet! My question is whether TTG will start selling some TWD merch?

    So far not looking promising but this is by no means a confirmation one way or the other.

    Damn it. I guess I'm just going to start buying the Steam releases for now on then. The DVD bonus was the whole reason I always bought the Telltale release.

    They have to actually make the other 80% of the game 1st. lol. Nice of them to come out and say that ep 2 will be coming out this month but no certain date. Which means they are just trying to shut people up until we hit July and its still not here. Ive decided just to watch the story on youtube now. Its not like your choices have much of an influence other than maybe a random scene change or different dialogue. Your still going to do the same things. It may have been cooler if my choice between the lil boy and Herschels son wouldnt have ended in the same outcome.

    To be fair on telltales part(go ahead and do what you please) we've only seen 20% of the game as you've said, we don't know if the game will go nuts in the differences in the future. Also, you have to remember for that seen in particular, shaun had to die as he was dead in the comics, so telltale wanted to show off his death somehow. Plus Kenny now knows you don't care for his son...
