TWD: Problem with game

Yeah I bought the game on steam and and every time I press play and won't start up at all what is the problem I don't understand??

    I bought the game direct from Telltale so I'm not sure about an exact problem with Steam, but Avast! Internet security did block the .exe from launching and then ran it in a sandbox which obviously wouldnt work so I got a black screen the first time it "started". After I got Avast to chill it launched fine with no problems.
    I would advise to check to see if your internet security it maybe blocking it from lauching properly.

    Well how would I check if its getting blocked?
