The Post Your Original Music Thread

I thought I'd create a thread in the spirit of the Awful Karaoke Thread, but dedicated to original music rather than singing to someone else's music.

I'll go first:
Slipping Serenity.

This is an instrumental, no words. So you don't get to hear my awful singing here. I hope to make an actual song with singing sometime though. Although, I keep saying that. Maybe this year will be the year? :)

Here's something I did a cappella style because I can write a few lyrics but I can't play an instrument. But at least it's short...

    Oooh, a thread for self-promotion.

I'm a rock-star without star status, plays what I'd like to call folk-rock but what do I know about genres?
Feel free to check out some of my stuff.

Well, here's a little something I made whilst playing around with GarageBand.

Ooh, this gives me an incentive to actually record some of the piano stuff I cook up. Unfortunately, I'm a terrible pianist, so I can't really play the stuff I invent very well, and for some things, not at all. But I've got a piece or two.

Hah, that sort of comment was always going to come, wasn't it? :)

Good, do it! It's better to at least put something out there, rather than just doing nothing with your ideas. Plus, I'm pretty eager to hear what everyone's capable of creating, regardless of their skill levels.

Okay have a couple of awful audios here:

This I've done couple years back, after staying awake all night.. it is very dumb :D
This is a pretty quickly done short version of the song 'Hallelujah'. I used Garage Band to stitch this together. :)
This one's just a short riff I made some years back with a crappy guitar and even crappier microphone. I used a coin as a pick. Something nice about this, though :) maybe I'll someday do a remake and compose it a bit further.
This is one of the numerous short Garage Band -projects, that I've actually done somewhat "serious" :)
    This is nothing.

Maybe I'll post some more of my musical-brainfarts someday to this thread ^^

Neither aweful, nor original, but I've MP3ified the TIE Fighter Soundtrack.

Well at least it covers the 'music' part of the demand :D What software did you use to remake these?

I've used Reaper along with EWQLSO Gold (East West Quantum Leap Orchestra) and GPO4 (Garritan Personal Orchestra).

Might as well stick up the first 'album' of electronic dance music that I created using a music arrangement program called eJay back around 1998-2000:

I Play Bad Golf But Feel Good

Here's a song I created for Bad Golf: Community Edition and later used in Doug's Moai Adventure.

It's licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Sharealike 4.0 license, so feel free to use it if you'd like. :)
