What would be your Walking Dead character/group be?

I don't see anything against the rules for discussing original ideas and characters for the Walking Dead games/series.

My Characters-

Jay and Jossie
An Brother and Sister who were orphans long before the outbreak.
after escaping abusive foster parents the two looked after each other.
They have no idea the difference between right and wrong and don't care.
Jay has an near fanatical devotion to his sister he's ruthless and only behaves
at her orders she is the Princess he is the Knight. Jossie doesn't care about adults and only cares about Jay. The Zombie Apocalypse has pretty much taught everyone the same lesson they grew up learning. They'd be friendly to Duck and Clementine but not to adults. Especially not Larry , Lilly, or an Arsehole Lee. Jay wouldn't trust Kenny especially but Jossie might talk to Kaatja. Ultimately though the two siblings would go off on their own.

What would your characters be?

I'd like to see another character other than Lee for whom the zombie outbreak is somewhat of a good thing for them. Whether their life was abusive or oppressive before in some way and now they're free.

I'd also like to see portrayals of characters change over time. Meaning those who seemed unsympathetic become sympathetic, and vice versa.
So that people playing become surprised to find that their first judgements of characters might have been too hasty.

So Larrys a great guy and kenny is a psychopath?

    Sure, I've argued that already.

Or do it with other characters. Katja has a dark side, Duck has a redeeming quality, Clem is actually not so perfect and quite horrible in some way, etc... Change it up!

That's actually pretty awesome We already know Kenny has a cowardly side it'd be interesting to see more sides of characters

    +1

There are a lot of people who would either welcome a zombie apocalypse, be severely changed by it, or thrive in it. Definitely need the character variation

In my mind the news mentions a zombie apocalypse an a group of video gaming nerds shows up and ends up creating one of the safest colonies because FPS and Rage issues made them experts at dispatching Zombies,

    Uh one question

Does Kirkmans World have Zombie movies in it?

Interesting question.... I am pretty sure TWD is contemporary fiction, so it is just an alternate reality of where we are today. With so many zombie stories around the world, I'd figure there would have to be. As far as references to culture in the comics, no I don't think so.

It'd be pretty obvious to any of us once it was established we were indeed in a zombie apocalypse that we'd be using tactics and targeting heads immediately. Personally I'd take a small group and head for Walmart supercenter, take down any walkers, close the main metal gates, lock the doors, barricade everything, and live there for a year or so. Would only need to go out for gasoline if you wanted to run a generator to keep a freezer going. Otherwise you'd have all the bottled fluids, dried food, cooking supplies and weapons you would need. Run electric skillets off car batteries, enough batteries to last years. Clothes, shoes, electronics, gardening supplies for sustainable food.... You'd just have to defend it against other groups of people.

My most hated of places in this reality would be #1 fortress when the zombies appear

To be fair In Reality we'd never get to outbreak proportions even if the cause was Zombie gas released in a train station of ten thousand the military would figure out quickly and it'd be done in a month or too

Yeah, that's why in my mind zombie virus would HAVE to be terrorism either airborne or a waterborne agent capable of bypassing filters. More likely airborne. They would target hospital ventilation and army base ventilation first. That's the only way everyone would be zombies. And since
everyone in TWD IS infected already, I know that's the case with Kirkman's fiction. If EVERYONE who died started becoming zombies, it wouldn't even be apparent until it was too late. Hospitals would actually be hotzones of activity, people dying all the time. Bite a nurse, she gets sick and goes home. Turns, bites family. Or nurse gets attacked, killed on spot, comes back, bites others. Everyone panics, zombies bite all the other patients and you have several hundred on your hands already. There's hospitals everywhere. The only thing the government would do from there is get the president and anyone deemed important to a bunker, there's no way they'd drop nukes on US soil, and if news got out Police and state would be protecting their own family not going to all the nurses' houses and taking them out.

It would be me, armed with a silenced MP5, laser pointer and scope, grenades and a machete.
And a short/tiny, blonde, blue eyed, 18 year old virgin.

Yep... they don't last past 17 anymore. You'd die by the horde looking for such a mythical creature.

"Die by the Horde"..... I like that! May have to copyright lol

I'd be the type of survivor who survived purely because I prepared for the Walking Dead, and how to survive in it.
My greatest strength would be knowing what to to do to survive the walking dead, but my greatest weakness would be my physical endurance.

To mutually work with a group I would show/tell them what to do, and then they would have to be the ones who actually do it.

so would you forcibly dominate them or would you be naturally charismatic like kenny

to be honest most of the 'blonde and blue eyed chicks' would either be dead because they thick as pig shit, kept under lock and key and abused or if they where lucky found a group of footballers/jocks/army guys and are put to work in the kitchens...

seriously tho thing with blondes is every shallow guy in the world wants one.. take it from me and pick your girl:

raven/black hair for the mean/hard survivalist with a sadistic goth side
brunnette for the smart calm explorer
ginger for the bossy bitchy slightly nuts
grey if you like the useless oldies
white if you are cold and dead inside
stupid hair dye colour if you fancy a challenge

no hair at all if you want a balls to the wall no nonsense chick who will pretty much own everything that gets in her way including your own ass

as for my 'character' i'd go with a mix of doug and kenny and glenn

the tech guy i have a thing for gadgets and tech stuff
because i'll be nice to everyone except those who threaten without just cause
i'll be hording anything for food or supplies/fuel and even try and be resourcefull with a big mouth and saying stuff that is either obvious/uncalled for/ funny/ witty/ down right nasty.

build wise probably like i am average but with an interest in keeping fit and healthy ish
attitude would be a bit quiet and reserved around certain people and not much of a leader but i would take charge if necessary help sterr the group in the right direction.
