I sure loved 'hit the road'. maybe make

a sequel to hit the road, with the music composer's music. it would be nice to see the old characters again, like the bigfoots, snuckeys, croc golf, conroy bumpus too.:D

    Unfortunately, Telltale can't make a direct sequel to Hit the Road because LucasArts owns the rights to the characters and locations in that game, and the current LucasArts management isn't interested in licensing out their adventure game properties.

    I'm going to ask this nicely.

    Could you please stop posting these threads and put your posts in the "Telltale should make..." thread.

    Its getting a little annoying, and if you persist, I will have no choice but to eat your face and wear your feet as shoes.

    In regard to your point about the Hit the Road composers though, I'd love if Telltale used music by Michael Land, Peter McConnell, or Clint Bajakian, or two of the three, or even all three in one of the Sam & Max seasons. I really enjoyed their music in the classic LucasArts games. :D

    Plus, Michael Land worked with Telltale on Tales of Monkey Island, so it's not completely out of the realm of possibility.

    Though, even if they don't, I really enjoy Jared Emerson-Johnson's music in the Sam & Max seasons. His music is one of my favorite part of Telltale's games. :)

    I know it'd never happen, but man...I would kinda dig a Telltale-style remake of Hit The Road with new graphics and the current Sam & Max voice cast.

    If you don't already, you may be interested to know that Jared Emerson-Johnson is Clint Bajakian's protégé, and they co-founded Bay Area Sound, Telltale's go-to place for all things sound-related.

    In response to that, I'd still like it if Telltale remade their games with Bill Farmer and Nick Jameson voicing Sam and Max again. I've always wanted that to happen, I still do. And I strongly and passionately believe that the 25th anniversary is the perfect time for Telltale to do it.

    I'm not sure if I'd like the latter. I love David Nowlin's Sam & William Kasten's Max, and they've definitely become really great after 16 episodes, but Bill Farmer and Nick Jameson really fit Hit the Road's style.

    I'd really miss Max's Brooklyn accent and Sam's film noir voice style. To me, the change in their voices seems like a natural evolution for the characters. The way I see it, as the characters took more cases outside the tri-county area, their distinctive accents mellowed out. :D

    But, I definitely wouldn't mind a revamp in graphic style (either Monkey Island 2 SE style or in 3D with the Telltale tool). :)
