Found out why TWD would not start
I bought the game yesterday from Steam and tried for 2 hours to get the game to run. The exe would crash each time and I tried everything I could think of...read forums for close to 2 hours trying to find something.
Low and behold....
You see I have a EVGA GTX 680 and running the Precision X app.
Shut the app down and The Walking Dead started right up plus 3 other games that wouldn't run !
So, possible that if you are running that app or maybe MSI afterburner it could be causing the problem.
Not sure if this was posted, but wanted to pass this along !
