This is what is happening to my game.

They are both games I got on Steam, so maybe its steam related?

My boyfriend says its my graphics card and I need a new laptop...

I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

I really don't want to get a new laptop. I'm kind of attached to this one!

Try updating your garphics card drivers it might help. If not, then your laptops graphics card just isn't good enough, which is often the case.
