edited August 2012 in The Walking Dead

and how did the baby sitter die ?

i have drank the water in a two play throughs and in my third didn't drink it...

yup and maybe when he needs to take a slash a zombie wakes in the stall next to him and savages his ankles..

Could mean something, could mean nothing. From the trailer/preview for EP2 we can assume that a few months have passed, so the piss theory is sort of unlikely, but it's pretty funny to think about. Maybe Zombies have a terrible reaction to piss? Ugh.

Not sure what the significance was. I find it unlikely that it was poisoned water. Remember- zombies don't drink, and the cup was full. So unless this disease is airborne, it's unlikely that the water is infected. I think it may come into play later on if they run low on water. "You thirsty?" Nah, I drank earlier.

    Just a guess!

Yeah, I know. Don't confuse my comments with criticism, it's just how I am.

Speaking of EP2..Come on, TT. Give us something.

Well I think leaving water out on the window sill is like making sun tea aka you run the risk of an infection from bacteria.

    Or it was the Queens Royal Water and now Lee is Immortal! {So long as the Queen Lives}

may have been the babysitters cup of water. still Lee needed a drink and the babysitter certainly didn't need it. I didn't drink it on my second playthrough want to see if it makes any difference.
As for what happened to the sitter seems that she was attacked in the house so maybe she was trying to help someone and they attacked her or they broken in to look for food and weapons wrecked the house and attacked the babysitter. I think that the babysitter told Clemintine to hide in the tree house hoping she would be safe there.

After I made Lee drink the water, I worried that maybe it was a mistake. But when he woke from the car crash, the first thing he said was, "..... Thirsty....." lol So I took care of my boy.

HATE CLEM CAMP = caused by untreated brain damage via zombie attack.

Right shall i start with how that statement is false ?

Clem didn't use the hammer she brought it for lee.

and logic says an 8yr old girl wouldn't hit anyone. . .

Lee said he was thirsty, don't know if it'll affect the game...
If you've read the comics you'll know it's not a virus that really matters to the living so even if the water is poisonous or infected in some way, it ain't a disaster.

Those children are mentally ill/inbred or just plain broken

clem is normal as is possible considering her situation...

Ok First of all I've been reading around, and your Queen Clem idea is brilliant. So I'm going to play on it. So what if the water is foreshadowing what is going to happen in a future episode With Queen Clem, and Lee. The water was placed by Queen Clem to thank Lee for something.

I drank the water because when Lee wakes up from the crash he says he's "so, thirsty"... I don't think there's any more significance in it but that is a good question! hmmmmm...
  • edited June 2012
I drank it after slipping in the blood. :( I figured I made this damned trek over here, I'm getting that damned water!
  • edited June 2012
If I remember correctly, I think I saw the water, but did other things, which eventually got me out of the house, before I ever got to it.

My theory; the water contains a glimpse of the future of the rule of Her Majesty, Queen Clem.

Lee drinks it realizes he must swear to protect this saint until those premonitions become a reality.

Or he may just have quenched his thirst, but you can't tell me it doesn't make ya think...

it came from a thread where we were joking about after the zombie apocalypse I beliiiieve its in the same thread that involves Duck killing the cast with an RV like he killed shawn and then going to the moon

The water determined if the screen was blurry after Lee hit his head in the kitchen after being attacked by the babysitter. If you drink it the screen will be clear, if not it will be blurry and thus much harder to kick off the babysitter zombie.:D

It'd be hilarious if the glass was infected:

    Clem: Lee! What's wrong?
Lee: It's that glass of water I drank at your house. I'm infected, and I'm dying...
