PS3 Stutter/lag

Hello I dowloaded and installed TWD on ps3 several times but when i play it stutters/lags every few seconds.I been searching and havent found much people with this problem.I read someware it might be a problem with my hard drive but i havent had any problems with some other games installed on my hdd.Has anyone else had this problem and does anyone know how to fix it?Thanks

    yhea hi, I have the exact same problem. I restored my ps3 because I thought that it could be my HDD . I've played episode 1 before with little problems. But now after the update it is just unplayable. Everytime "something" happens the video lags and the audio stutters. Do you (patricio13) have found any problems now with other games, not only with those installed on your HDD but also with "normal" disc versions?

    I have not had any problems with other games i have played infamous 1 and 2, dead space, saints row 2, journey, and a few others all straight from hard drive and they all play pretty well.Someone please help i had the game since launch but havent been able to enjoy.The Game seems awsome other than lag cant wait to play it iam a big TWD fan.

    I wish i could get a refund and buy it for xbox 360.

    That's odd... On my PS3 it only lags when autosaving, just for a sec, not a big deal. Try reinstalling the game, maybe some of the data is corrupted or something.

    i tried reinstalling the game several time but it still lags alot i even deleted my saved game and restarted from the begining.

    Hai,
    I also tries reinstalling the game several times and that didn't work. So I thought that it maybe was my HDD.So I did a system reboot and also deleted all corrupted files and downloaded "the walking dead" and an other game: "dead space" again. Dead space runs smoothly. But the walking dead still lags and stutters terribly. I now feel sorry I bought the season pass and am afraid that I won't be able to enjoy the rest of the serie. It's a shame though because I really liked it when it wasn't lagging an stuttering so much. It did so since the update..

    I got a new 120gb slim ps3 a little over 2 years old

    I got the 160 GB slim model and it's 1,5 years old.

    Owkay,

    So I've found out what the problem was: the HDD. I found that several games didn't work like they where supposed to and replaced my HDD. now everything works fine, even walking dead. So patricio13, I think it's time to replace you HDD. I'm sorry...
