Quantum Conundrum is like Portal?

edited June 2012 in General Chat
Hey Everyone,

I just bought Quantum Conundrum and it is great! You can definitely tell it is inspired by portal, since the game director help made portal 1.
I made a video showing off the game, hopefully this will help you decide whether or not to buy this game.

The game is capable of using an X-Box controller.

Tell me what you think!

Can we get a thread for all his LP-posts please? This is kinda getting annoying.

We might as well make a generic LP thread for everyone to post theirs to.
That way we don't need a thread for every person.

We already have a thread for user created youtube videos. People are supposed to post them there.

    No.

Kim Swift worked on Narbacular Drop, a school project at DigiPen University. Valve saw, and liked the game/idea, hired Kim and turned it into the game we know is Portal. She did not "help make Portal 1." Without her, there'd be no Portal 1. She deserves much more credit than that. She then left Valve, and started working at Airtight Games and made Quantum Conundrum.

    Yes, I know my Portal.

    Also...

It is my second favourite. That's why I am so disappointed by Portal 2 that I wish it wouldn't exist.

Apparently I'm so old nothing came out in 1984. Which is a lie, but meh.

In 2000 a bunch of PS1 games came on my birthday (but they were all terrible) - Crisis Beat, Football Manager, Infestation, The Flintstones: Bedrock Bowling and X-Men: Mutant Academy - and there were more of the same in 2006 that I won't list. Interestingly, Earthworm Jim 3D came out on the anniversary of my birth in 2008 (I'm almost positive that's wrong though, I remember playing that years earlier). Somewhat better was Lara Croft and the Guardians of Light, which came out 18/08/2010, while the Mac version of Duke Nukem Forever came out in 2011. What'll come out this year? I believe I've already said.

    Oh yeah. Woo indeed.

Hmph! I was a spotty, horny 14 year old geek when 'Crash Bandicoot' was released. Now I'm a pastey, sexually repressed 29 year old geek. Where does the time go?!

Nothing came out in the week I was born. Obviously the world was in shock by the birth of the antichrist and wasn't in the mood for gaming.

Games that have come out on my birthday

    Dance Dance Revolution Universe 3
    Dead Space
    Fable
    FIFA 09
    Golden Axe: Beast Rider
    Rock Revolution
    Saints Row 2

That's just Xbox games, though. I couldn't find a list of PC games and I'm too lazy to look. Also, I have not played a single one of these games.

You've not played Saints Row 2? You're missing out.

Well, unless it's on PC, it's rather likely that I won't play it in the foreseeable future.

Frostbite came out the week of my birthday 14/08/1983. Bit random.
