The Walking Dead launch problems

So I recently bought the Walking Dead game off of Steam and every time the box "Preparing to launch" comes up it will say its loading up but never does.

I am currently running Windows 7 and I took all the measures on the Steam support to try and fix this problem. I have tried reinstalling the game but that does not work. I have also tried uninstalling my anti virus software and playing with it off my computer but that still works.

I have yet to play the game yet and if this problem is not resolved I would like to get a refund from the game.

EDIT: Steam support directed me here to try and get this problem resolved

1. Right click and go to "Properties"
2. Click on "Compatibility" tab

5. Put a tick on "Run this program as an administrator" and click "Apply"
6. Try running the game

I havn't the option ''Run this program as an administrator'', so i put apply and then it say: click hete to continue, i click but nothing happen.

Do you have the TTG Store or Steam version?
Which steps of the support FAQ have you tried already?

Hi there, I got the same problem, I tried compatibility-mode and running as administrator, but it didn't work. I got win8.

It's a missing .dll file.
