new registered user, but ive bin lurking since TWD started trying to find out when it released, and i gotta say, im really unimpressed by the people whining about telltales business practices or release times or anything, its insane to think they could actually keep to that monthly release IF they make the choices matter.

its simply too much work for a single month, especially if they havent prepped right and had assets for the game made for ages and all sorts o shit, so before you rag on them again, go away and ACTUALLY THINK about how much work is involved, and be happy they are taking their time. otherwise you might end up with mass effect 3'itis, and start screaming into your pillows before bedtime :|

That is why they should have just held off the game till it was done then release it monthly. Instead they what that money now before the whole mayan c-al-end-ar i-s o-ver and the dead really rise.

If they held off on releasing the game until it was completely done, there really wouldn't be a point to releasing it monthly.

Christ...some of you people need to get a grip.. First people flip their shit because a game is about 3 weeks late, then they flip it again because their desired platform has to wait 2 extra days. A special few have even been threatening to sue? I don't even have a witty comment to make about that because its absurdity stands on its own.

Y'all stay rational now, ya hear?

And all the fuss and indignation over a game that -- for all FIVE episodes, total -- costs less than a moderately-priced dinner out. There's PLENTY of play value here, plenty of entertainment, and I'm willing to take it as it comes. (As are most people who DON'T talk about it here, I suspect -- waiting can be a pain, but anticipation is delicious.)

No excuse to keep customers in the dark/not apologise. Also if they decide to make a release date, they should keep to it, they know how people react when they are promised something and arent given it, even after they paid for the product...and yes game development is a long process, but they knew this, if they kept their mouths shut bla bla bla bla episode 3 bla bla bla I cNt be bothered anymore lol
