    Hey all,

I know there have been similar threads about issues regarding episode 2, I just wanted to contribute something else I couldn't find a thread for.

Just finished the game (amazing by the way) but among issues like the game temporarily freezing during cut scenes, I've noticed that some achievements that were unlocked during the course of the game have been removed from my profile. These are "complete chapter 1-3 of episode 2" achievements.

I don't particularly like the thought of playing through again because I would like to play through just once considering the concept behind the game.

Anyway, just wondering if anyone else is having this issue.

    Cheers guys!

EDIT: Just a heads up for those wondering, this post was an interdependent thread but was merged with the current one for relevance. Thanks.

To everyone experiencing issues similar to this, that's just because your xbox is trying to load the choices you made (thus lags while deciding which cutscene to play)

Try clearing your system cache and it should help speed up your system. Not really a fix, but it should help a bit.

If you don't know how to clear your system cache:
    http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-360/settings-and-initial-setup/clear-system-cache

(this is my job btw. Can you tell?)

Wow glad i wasnt the only one having issues during the gameplay. The glitchyness seemed to clear up mostly by about halfway thru for me. Except for when lee finds marty in hes bad way. At that moment i thought the game had froze entirely but after a good 5 sec pause it continued. The story was very excellent by the way. Couldnt help thinking that poor clementine is surely gonna need some therapy by the time this all over.

    !!SPOILER!!

I cannot find anyway to get past Brenda on the stairs. I've searched every inch of the screen and I have no chance to interact with her or anything in the room. She speaks once as soon as I enter the room- I start moving forward little by little to no response and no chance for interaction. Finally she speaks again and I cannot interact with her during this brief statement, as soon as she stops talking she shoots and kills me.

    Is this a glitch?

I think this is a glitch. On my game I can inch inch inch forward and set my controller down when she points the gun at Lee. She shoots anyway.

I am never presented a dialogue option. I am NOT touching the left-thumbstick in any way except to inch closer... and I immediately let go of the thumbstick the moment she moves to point her gun at Lee.

I assure you that I am not suffering from Parkinsons or have terribly slow reflexes. I have a pretty impressive K/D on Call of Duty and I can thrash people in Rock Band.

So I beat episode 2 today, 3 hours after release for the Xbox. Now, when I click on my achievements it says Walking Dead: 8 out of 8. Then when I click it, it says I have 16 of 16 unlocked. My friend tells me that I only have the first 8 achievements. Anyone else having this? Any suggestions?

In regards to the "boss fight." Spoilers.
Walk toward Brenda until she points her gun at Lee. As soon as she does, STOP IMMEDIATELY then place the aiming reticle over her. There will be a dialogue option. Pick the nice one.

Highlight the blacked out boxes to read it.

I hope the PC game isn't bugged or shit..

Hello. Have you looked into the problem people are having with accessing the game? I bought the game and downloaded it, but i cant play it. When i boot up the game, it just says "get" in the episode menu even though it also says
i have purchased it. I have tried deleting it and redownloaded it, but nothing helps. I wont even load my save game. I can only choose new game.

Wassup everyone? I was wondering if someone ran into a similar situation?

I wanted to do another playthrough using my original data

(i copied the data from the playthrough i just finished, ep2 and saved it to a new slot), but I ran into a problem. After I rewinded my new slot to the beginning, some of the choices ive made in the first episode seem to have been changed.

the first example was when Carley is asking whether anyone knows about Lee's secret...

on my first playthrough Lee says Clem knows and he COULDN'T lie to her. When I used my newly copied slot (rewinded), Lee says that Clem MIGHT know, because he lied to her. I don't neccesarily wanna go thru the rest of the playthru cause some of my other options might have been altered. IS this a bug that could possibly be fixed?

    thanks

This isn't something that came up during testing and I haven't been able to reproduce it. You'll need to choose Play from the main menu, select your previous save, and then choose Episode 2 from the menu to start that episode. What's happening you try to do that?

Have you tried deleting both episodes and then reinstalling? Do you have enough free space on your device to complete the Episode 2 download?

Right. Having a lot of trouble getting Episode Two running on PC.

Originally, I had finished Episode One through the Telltale Games client, but decided I'd pick up Episode Two through Steam. So, downloaded it, got it running, noticed it was reading my other savegame fine, clicked over to Episode Two, hit Play...then black screen. No loading screen. Just black. The game wasn't frozen, as Windows wasn't picking up on the program as not responding, and I could even bring up the Steam overlay no problem. This happened every time I tried loading up Episode Two. Wondering whether it was just the Steam version not working right, I played through the last chapter of Episode One through it, and found no issues.

So, I thought to see whether the Telltale Games client would have a better time. Downloaded Episode Two through that, and it all installed fine. Went to load up my save, and at the savegame select screen, clicked Play...and it didn't work. Neither would any of the other buttons. They'd highlight as I moved my cursor over them, but clicking did nothing. So, I closed the game and started it up again. Worked up until the start menu, asking me to click any button. I'd do that, the screen would dim and then return as it was. Clicking again would start the Connecting process...and after a moment, everything would freeze. Every time. I then tried the Steam version again, and it now also freezes at this screen. Every time.

Anyone else having these issues? I'm suspecting I have multiple technical issues compounding each other. :/

    My specs are as follows:

OS - Windows Vista Service Pack 2 32-bit
    CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad @ 2.66GH/z
    GFX: ATi Radeon HD 6950
    RAM: 4GB

First of all, there's a graphical problem on the load game screen:
    7131FD27BA57B964FA99277F874576CD28E6CC67

Next, here are my stats from Episode 1, showing that I chose to save Duck and to side with Kenny at the drugstore.
However, in the first part of Episode 2 Kenny goes off at me for leaving Duck in danger twice in the past.
    656F5840CC7C0ECD79A2111E7ABB3E69DE8A00DE

I managed to play through Episode 2 without any real problems, but I noticed a typo just near the end of the game:
    A2A41D86B1FA13AD61A7222B8EA4A6BAA7F7FA2A

At the end of episode 2 the stats screen pops up, but there's a problem.
All the text is just placeholders and all the stats are 50%.
    1B48FA1B892C0D7532555307BEA299A187801308

After sitting through the credits and finally returning to the main menu, if I choose play and load my newly completed savegame I've lost the option to view stats or rewind for episode 1, and for episode 2 I've got stats, but no rewind, and instead of continue it says COMING SOON.
If I go back to the main menu and check episode status it says COMING SOON for episode 2 there as well, even though I just finished playing it!
    AD26412C074DB2C60A5B75E68BF3FB4D038236D8

If I quit the game after that and then boot it up again, Episode 2 becomes available again, but my savegame reverts to being named Episode 1. Episode 1 gets its stats and rewind options back, but Episode 2 loses its stats option.
If I choose to play Episode 2 then, it loads up at the start of that last scene when we're all walking away from the farm and we find that car.

Choices made in Ep 1 are not transferring to Ep 2 despite using saved game from ending of Ep 1.

    Info/repro:
    - PC version on 32-bit Win7, run as admin.
    - Steam client for all.
    - On main menu, select "Play", then choose saved game file from ending of Ep 1.
    - Using arrows at top of Episode selection screen choose Episode 2.
    - Select "Play".
    - Episode 2 begins, but without continuity. Doug is alive when Carley should be, etc.

This happened to me too. I play with TTG store PC version. Do you know what happened? I didn't install the new game installer version (version2) from TTG store when they released months ago. When I installed, this issues fixed it.

I hope this will be useful.

    Well this is pathetic.
I complete episode 2 on my normal playthrough. (Doug alive)
Decide to play on my "scumbag" playthrough in episode 2 (This one has Carley saved). I click on the save, click play and then go to episode 2 and click play. Instead it loads the end scene of episode 2 with doug alive and obviously being the ending of my first save.
So I deleted my first save after backing them up and tried it again.
IT STILL LOADS WITH DOUG AND AT THE END OF THE EPISODE.

    Seriously. What the hell?

Exactly the same happens to me too (Steam version, Windows Vista 64bit). Second Episode also clearly shows Doug alive in the opening and the following dialogue with the new guy, even though I saved Carley (and it states as much in the stats page). I immediately stopped the game, because I don't want to play the "wrong" story.

I must say it's pretty embarrassing that the choices don't transfer correctly, considering this is supposed to be one of the main selling points of this game. It's indeed infuriating and I hope it gets resolved soon.

Probably not necessary to say given all the other posts, but Doug is alive in Ep2 despite him having died in Ep1. I replayed Ep1 entirely just to make a new save to test it out, and he's still alive in the second playthrough despite my choosing Carley. As well, Ep.2 doesn't have a Rewind option after completion, which is a bit unfortunate. Also, the Ep2 stats either aren't available, or are entirely pointless in their placeholder state.

Would appreciate this being attended to. Thanks much.

    It's getting greater and greater...

I tried to restart my pc and replay the last part of chapter 1, to see if the "false-person-killed"-bug stull occures...

NOW my game tells me, that Episode 2 (which I allready played) is "comming soon".
And because that would be just not bad enough, my 2nd and 3rd savegame were deleted as well (I tried different decisions through episode 1)
