help with game controls

im sure it not that difficult but i cant figure out what to do to not get killed by the cop zombie. i dont know how to use my gun. please help, i have a pc and just want to know the controls.

    You just click the cop once you have the gun in your hand AND LOADED. The shotgun isn't loaded so you might have to look around for a bullet...hint hint. You use the mouse wheel to go up and down on different items to use them to interact with objects.
