Carley Gun Mistake

I realized after playing through the game that if you choose to save Carley you toss her a magazine and she shoots the zombies. I don't believe she racks the slide on her handgun, which I assume is a glock by the looks of it. Since she just pulls the trigger after loading the magazine she would have had to have a round in the chamber. So why didn't she just shoot the zombie that was grabbing her? Lee didn't have to throw her a magazine. The only other explanation that I have was that the slide was open and she just pressed the slide release lever after loading the magazine, but it didn't look like the slide was open. I just wanted to know if anyone else noticed this. If I'm mistaken please correct me. Thanks.

Speaking of gun mistakes. In the second episode the second brother has a BOLT ACTION rifle. When he is holding duck hostage he only has one hand to operate the rifle. This means he only has ONE SHOT. He used that shot on kenny. So his rifle is useless afterwards because he could not have loaded another round with only one hand.

Yes it is a game, but the purpose of the forum is to talk about the game. It's just something interesting I noticed. I thought the game developers would have thought that through.

I've been searching the forums for someone else to have noticed this. I literally yelled at my screen "rush him!!!" when I saw him waste his shot on a non-fatal shot to kenny...

and Lee DOES rush him... but the gun fires another shot during the struggle... that's when I realized I was trying to apply too much reality to the game and potential decisions (not that you get to make a choice about running toward the second brother (andy? danny? mandy? something like that)

Yeah as soon as he shot and didn't chamber another round I was like, "Idiot. I got him." But I guess it really was a magic round.

As far as the Carly thing goes, it's magic too. If you don't toss her the clip she pulls the trigger and it doesn't fire. THEN SHE GETS BIT IN THE FACE.

I noticed too a few more minor glitches like the sound sync being off when Clem kicks the soccer ball into the trash cans.. I thought c'mon TT guys surely that couldnt be too hard to do right, but overall, nothing was serious enough to really impact the game.

But still after the 1 month advertised wait then another 1 month delay, I would have expected a little less glitchyness and attention to detail.

The scene where she reload the gun was cut to make the game 1.3 seconds shorter. But fear not, it will be released in a directors cut/extended version in 7 years!
