help!!! walking dead not working for PS3 and i downloaded the patch

i downloaded the patch...

i click on "download content"

i see that episode 2 is installed, but when i press X, NOTHING happens...

what's the deal???

what do i have to do to get this going? delete everything, re-download and install and start over?

please help.

    You'll need to start a new game, or load a save, from the main menu. You won't be able to load the game from the Download Content screen.

    i see. so i guess the first episode i created that i can't play anymore is gone. so i can either:

    A. start episode 1 over again as a new game

    B. start episode 2 with random story decisions?
