TWD: Episode 2 Mac controls?

So I'm starting to get the idea that purchasing this game on a mac was a bad idea. In episode 2 when you are looking for the screwdriver in the barn stalls, the controls tell you hit the right arrow key to get out. I am using a mac, and as such, have the apple magic mouse. How do I get past this with mac controls?

you bring the cursor to the bottom right corner of the screen and click the mouse. i used a trackpad on my macbookpro to play it worked fine

Although i agree was a weird design choice.
