[WD] Still "Coming Soon"?!

edited July 2012 in Game Support
Greetings,

I have the digital download version (from the website here) of the game. When I click the download content button it still says "coming soon" for episode 2.. I finished episode 1 without any issues. How to fix this??

It's June 30th, When I open the downloadable content in the game it still has episode two as "coming soon". I am beyond irritated at this point. Your customer service is appalling, At this point I just want to know how to get a refund, my next step will be to contact the better business bureau. You apparently have no business running a company of any sort.

Also make sure the game is not blocked by your firewall.
If that doesn't work a clean boot is worth a try.

    Booting clean in Windows XP:
    1. Click Start --> Run --> Type msconfig --> Click OK
    2. On the General tab, choose Selective Startup
    3. Uncheck Process SYSTEM.INI file
    4. Uncheck Process WIN.INI file
    5. Uncheck Load Startup Items
    6. Click on the Services tab
    7. At the bottom, check Hide All Microsoft Services
    8. Click Disable All
    9. If running the game on Steam, re-check the "Steam Client Service"
    10. Click OK
    11. Click Restart
    12. After reboot, run the game to see if it works.

After performing the necessary steps, restore your system by doing the following:

    1. Click Start --> Run --> Type msconfig--> Click OK
    2. On the General tab, choose Normal Startup
    3. Click OK
    4. Click YES, when asked to restart your computer

Booting clean in Windows Vista / 7:
    1. Click Start --> Type msconfig --> Press Enter
    2. On the General tab, choose Selective Startup
    3. Uncheck Load Startup Items
    4. Select the Services tab
    5. Check Hide all Microsoft services
    6. Click Disable all
    7. If running the game on Steam, re-check the "Steam Client Service"
    8. Click on OK
    9. Click Restart.
    10. After reboot, run the game to see if it works.

After performing the necessary steps, restore your system by doing the following:

    1. Click Start --> Type msconfig --> Press Enter
    2. On the General tab, choose Normal Startup
    3. Click Ok
    4. Click Yes, when asked to restart your computer

    Uninstall TWD.
    Remove Telltale's old registry entries.
    Reinstall in 'C:/Users/Public/Games'.

This is what I did and it worked on my end, best of luck to the rest of you.

I re-downloaded and installed last night and that didn't work, but i woke up this morning and it was there to download. So, I'm not sure if I even did anything but it's working now.
