Tie-In

No idea if this has been said before and i know its pretty early to mention this but i think it would be cool if they tied in this video game series with the Comic or TV series. Like I said its too early to tell how they will end off the game and who will survive but I think it would be awesome if the surviving characters eventually cross paths. What does everyone else think? This is something I'd like to see happen.

    It's already done in the game with varying degrees of success. It's really hard to prioritize any of the comic book characters for anything because people who follow the books pretty much know that Lee's group will end up losing them eventually.

    I would love to see Lee's band cross paths with Rick's group at some point after season 1 ends in the books, but that's really up to Kirkman.

    it will Not be tied in with the show, but there are several things in the game and the comic that are tied already.

    the ep.1 with Glenn, the cops story (not confirmed), and Lilly... Have yet to actually play ep.2 so I can't tell you about that, but the game and the comic is to be considered cannon. (lore correct... what ever)

    It would be a pretty difficult thing to do, since Lee's character is different for everyone. Plus with all the variations in characters for each playthrough, they would really only be able to show Lee and Clementine (I hope Clementine).
    Without changing the story of the game at all, they would, at best, be able to show Lee in the background somewhere maybe.

    You forgot Hershel Greene.
    Anyway I think making too many tie-ins would not be good for the game.
    Placing Lilly as one of the main characters was a mistake in my opinion, because those who read the comics know that she can't die, because she has a role to play in Ricks life.

    Its already tied in with the comics...

    Now that I look back I wasn't really clear and yes I did read the comics and Im aware of the obvious tie ins. I was just thinking it would be cool to see Lee and Clementine added to the comics as characters depending on how this game ends.
