Misclicked and want to start over?

edited July 2012 in The Walking Dead
Ok so I just played through the second episode, and it was a bit to much for my liking, but I guess that's part of the story and really captures how the game should feel at times.

Ok so I misclicked and killed the first brother in the barn(Didn't want to do that) And now I want to know if anyone didn't do that and how much of a difference it made.

Currently I'm running with 1. Clem, 2. Carley, 3. Lily(She grew on me in this episode, when her father died.)

Edit:
Seconds after I discovered the rewind feature. Nifty little thing.

Another question - Is it "cheating" Rewinding when you didn't like how you looked in that situation?

Rewind it's cheating??? Not at all. It's like load a saved game.

If you didn't like something about your gameplay, replay the part you want and that's all.

Bad thing it's you will have to play the rest of the game from the part you rewinded.

I don't think its cheating... you made a mistake, and want the game to be played as you want no? thus you make sure that the story is played correctly. you still got to watch and go though all the "in between" so I don't think you should feel as a cheater.

I play the game through several times, but you lose trust with Clem if you kill the brother in front of her, you can quit to the main menu and rewind, letting the brothers live (both of them) is by far the best ending (imho) Clem will then trust you and hold hands instead of being frightened of you and hiding behind Lilly in the barn

Yeah I just rewinded and got the story I wanted. It just felt wrong to "kill" him. I think he died either way.

I wrote that it might feel like cheating because I read in another thread that someone disapproved of someone playing through the game several times. To each their own I guess. I feel better with my choices now at least.

At first I didn't think it would matter but then I thought that Clem might want to leave for the shores with Kenny, in my play through he is a coward and I don't thrust him, I wouldn't risk her leaving with him.

Is there a rewind feature for episode 2 on pc? When I look in the same area it appears for episode 1 it isn't there... another bug in pc version. Grrrr...

On mine it is. But another bug is when I press stats, it shows less than half of the decisions I've been making. But yeah that's only a minor bug, hopefully they fix the bigger ones.
