TWD: Steam-Version still doesn't run

Like some other dudes I have the problem that "the walking dead" doesn't run under steam (Win7 - 64Bit; 12GB RAM; Graphic: Nvidia GTX 260 with 1920*1080 Resolution and Driver Ver. 296.10; Sound: Creative Audigy 2ZS). I logged in as Administrator and started the game as Administrator as well. I was offline, turned off even the antivirus software "AV AntiVir" and the Windows Firewall. Nothing fixed the problem (uhm.. did I mention that i validaded the game cache?).

Now after episode 2 was released, I don't see any progress.

Do you still work on a patch or is there a way to get my money back?

    I have a similar setup and I can run the game, I was able to beat episode 2 twice, but now my save is glitched. I can no longer start episode 2, only end it. Also, my saves from episode 1 do not work. I was hoping for a patch, but I haven't seen much action on it.
