Steam/TT website question

Hello
My question is complex or atleast sounds that way but i will try and word it the best i can,

I got the season pass for WD on telltales site back in april as a pre order, in April because their site did not have the game i was granted a steam key, my question is, if i download the game from steam (again) can i access episode 2 from steam? or would i have to download it from the game i download at telltale's website? reason being is , id like to grab the achievements

    have you played the steam version since ep2 was out ? if it updates and lets you play theres your answer ;)

    since i played last time (april) i have uninstalled it but saved my saved games, then i installed from tt but now im thinking of uninstalling tt so i can get achivements from steam but did not go through all the effort for nothing ,thats why i asked first :)

    downloading steam again let anyone know if i can, think i should since it logs you in with your tt account
