Error Code 80

Hi, when i try to start The Walking Dead i get error code 80. What can i do to fix this?

    Getting the same error. Nobody knows?

    241 views at the moment... Is this a widespread issue?

    Bump and an update.

    The FAQ workarounds do not work for me.

    When running in compatibility mode as suggested by the FAQ, I get:
    Application load error: P:000006543

    When not running in Windows 98/me compatibility mode, code 80 rears its ugly head.



    A quick search of the forums tells me that this has been a problem for a while. Months, in fact, yet I found no solutions that worked.

    (Yes, I have verified integrity, restarted, restarted steam, updated drivers, restarted more, and still it happens.)
