Will this game run on my MacbookPro?
Hey everyone.
I'd like to purchase and play this game on my MacbookPro but I want to be sure the game can run smoothly before purchasing since in the past I've purchased games only to find out they run very poorly on my machine.
The official Walking Dead site states that the recommended video card for Macs is 512 MB Nvidia or ATI graphics card. The "About my Mac" panel states that my video card is the Nvidia Geforce 9400M. It doesn't say how many MB it has, so I don't know if it has 512 or what. It does say that it has 256 MB of VRAM though. What's all this mean?
The official site also says this game isn't recommended for early-generation Macbooks nor Intel integrated video cards. What qualifies as early-generation? I got my Macbook Pro in 2008 or 2009. How do I know if I have Intel-integrated graphics?
I checked the other recommendations and my Macbook Pro meets those recommendations, so I'm just concerned about the video card. Anyone know if I can run this game? I don't want to spend $25 on this game and then be stuck with something I can't use. Thanks!
*edit* I actually think I may have purchased this MacbookPro in 2008. Can't remember if it was '08 or '09.
