Just Episode 2 on PS3?

So I played through episode 1 at a friend's house and I want to pick up episode 2 for PS3 (without the season pass). However, it's listed as an add-on to episode 1, which implies that I have to buy that first. Can I buy episode 2 alone?

    I think the "Episode 1" download acts a hub for the other episodes. You need it to access future episodes and it contains the content necessary to launch and play the game.

    You might be able to skip the second episode and pick up the third, if you wanted.

    This is of course only my understanding and may be incorrect.
