Is it weird that I got a little emotional?

edited July 2012 in The Walking Dead
So I'm on my third playthrough of the game and when Lee hears the voice mail messages that Clementine's mother left her, and when we got to the 3rd message

am I the only one who got chills and emotional near the end of the message?

I found that moment to be sad. Then again, any mother would do the same towards her child.

Yeah, I'm generally unmoved emotionally but that was pretty harsh. :|

Also, Mr. Jay, I don't think her voice was unfitting at all, in fact it did look as though she could have such a voice, but this is just a matter of opinion.

Ehhh, I think that's a matter of opinion as well. Older? Sure, maybe in her later 30's, but surely not a grandmother; then again this is my opinion.

it'd be really best if we could argue this with a screengrab of the family photo

I got emotional at the end of episode 2 where Andy was literally begging Lee to finish him off as the walkers were closing in on them.

Don't know why, but it does. It was such an epic moment.

I wouldn't say it's an argument, just a matter of different opinions when it comes to the perception of age. She doesn't look like a Grandmother to me :|

I tried to " like " your post, but then had a moment of clarity. Anyway, yeah I can see how not so perfect contrast would lead to that perception, man.

She looks alright to me too. I don't know why her voice is an issue at all.

Definitely agree. I paused for a few during the first play through just debating it.

She does look like she has some Asian persuasion in her. Blasian maybe, she's still adorable, and I don't even like children.

I feel like Clem's of mixed race as well, but I feel like her mother has white ancestry somewhere (not too long ago) in her tree. It's not really uncommon.

Quite possible, I wouldn't count that out at all, man.

Clementine is definitely black then. I thought she was afro-asian lol.

Man. At dinner, when Clem was like "Lee. Lee..." all nervous and scared, then Andy grabbed her hair and pulled her back, I was like >:O
That bastard was dead from the moment he touched her.

Definitely. First and only mistake he had to make with me, too.

Clem's presence is often a breath of fresh air in a world of constant death and drama. Any time she's particularly happy or upset gets to me. When she tells Lee about breaking her walkie-talkie at the end of episode 1, fighting back tears, that was brutal. :( And that episode 2 salt-lick moment in the barn was dangerously cute. :D
