How would we on the forums survive?

edited July 2012 in The Walking Dead
I myself havent been a part of the Telltale or Walking Dead forum's very long, but I have seen a few regular's post, a few others comment frequently and I have noticed alot of differences in our opinions.

Like the characters in the game, they are all different people with their own belief's and value's, so it's made me wonder, if we the people who come to this forum were to let's say all be survivors in a group, how would we all get along in real life during a zombie apoc??

I would see ALOT of arguing over decisions and even the group splintering off into different factions.

*JOKE* With the exception of Mac user's because they cant even get the game to work yet so they would just be the walkers! :D

(Mac User who's game is working perfectly fine) Ahem...yeah, that would be funny! There are many groups who support many different characters. Those people would just likely be together.

Why would i want to be in a group with anyone from this forum? Have you been paying attention?
There is a large group of immature babies and little pink princesses playing this game. Its like the "Hello kitty gang"
Just look at all the people who wouldnt kill the big brother because "Ohhh, Clementine was watching and i couldnt do it, she might cry!"
Who would want to team up with such panzies, they will all be walkers within 3 months.

I think the only way to survive such a thing, is to accept that you are already dead. And that every day is a gift, make the most of it.
And of course. Rule number 1 in zombieland. Cardio. Oh and the other rule. Dont be a hero. Unless of course, its a hot chick. Then be a hero.
After all, is the rest of your life worth living without a woman by your side?

Survival through attrition. Destroy as many Zeds as you can, because that's the only way to truly end it.

Lars80> I'd form a cannibal biker gang called The Hello Kitties.

Agree with this guy, I'd role with you tell clem to close her eyes (or whoever is the equivelant) In a zombie apocalypse I would probly be in a very small group or be by myself and scavenge like all the time and would deffently go insane. I would probly be more attached to a dog then anyother people.

I think I too would be more inclined to roll with a smaller group, just a few of us that agree's survival is our priority. Clem isnt MY kid, though I would try to protect her, I wouldnt sacrifice myself for her or anyone else. Not that I would feed her intentionally to the zombies to get away, but if she can't keep up, she's toast!

I saw someone here say that if Clem were bitten and turned into a zombie he would let her bite him as his penance. Well, I wont argue your decision, that's up to you. I however most definately would not! I'm sure I would have remorse that I failed to save her and feel bad for a while in having to put her down, but I would be about looking out for myself first! Help those I can as long as their is minimal risk to me.

And take into account, we're talking about during a zombie apoc and how the world would be then. That does not mean I would be so heartless today, but we dont have these kind's of threats today!

I agree. "No i would rather starve instead of letting a kid think badly of me". "No i would let 2 more walkers roam free (Andy might have gotten away) instead of letting a kid think badly of me." Listen kid, this isn't a trip to Disneyland, this is the apocalypse. Toughen up or die. It baffles me so many people want to shelter this kid when the world has already gone to shit.

lol, I agree with most of this...except when they stick Clementine with you, it totally changes your (well, my) gaming mentality. Yes, she has to learn about this new world, but I didnt want to turn her into a Carl if you know what I mean. Ha its crazy, I dont have kids but when you see what some events do to her, it changes your 'kill or be killed' mentality real fast. In fact, it was having her around that helped me relate with Kenny...at least until about halfway through Ep2

Well my mac version works fine too :p. But yes, it is a lot like the Mass Effect forums or many game forums where people will splinter into factions and such based on either actual opinions, a wide range of emotional responses (or overemotional) and just pure trolling. So is life!
