The St. John's Methods SPOILERS WITHIN

edited July 2012 in The Walking Dead
This is more about the deal between the bandits and the St. Johns. I'm curious as to what extent the bandits knew of their "methods". Did they know they were getting human meat in return for their gas?

In my two playthroughs so far I haven't really been able to tell. Any ideas?

Jolene knew about farmers' canibalism so I believe that bandits knew that as well.

It's hard to say. I'm guessing that they didn't know, because the Brothers didn't think to kindly of them, as evidenced when they spoke. It's hard to imagine they would let them in on that major secret, if they didn't trust them.

Also, are we certain that the St. John's ever gave them "meat"? They may have traded their vegetables or milk, and kept the meat to themselves.

EDIT: Nevermind - I just remembered that the brother almost seems relieved when you find the boxes from the Dairy, but then say that are empty. That would imply that he is afraid of what you will find in the box, meaning that they DID give human meat to the bandits. I don't think it means that the Bandits knew what the food was, but rather that he doesn't want YOU to find out yet.

I think Jolene finds out AFTER she leaves the Bandits group. the St. John brother made a specific point of saying "YOU don't know ME!" - which I think means that they didn't specifically entrust anyone outside of their family with their "methods".
