Walking dead not working for me on Steam

Hi,

I just bought the walking dead game on steam, after installing it and starting it up it goes through the company's logo and then after a couple of seconds on the loading screen it freezes to my desktop without any error message or anything similar. I've done everything I've read on the forums including reinstalling the game, still the same problem. I have any ideas left to try.

System specs:

Windows 7 ultimate x64
Intel Core 2 duo E7400 2.8GHz
Nvidia GTS450 2769Mb (latest drivers)
Gigabyte G41MT-S2PT (motherboard)
4Gb RAM
If it helps my screen goes up to 1280x1024.

    When that happened to me, it first meant that I logged in wrong. The second time I was stuck at connecting, which was fixed by tabbing out. I don't know how Steam verifies your account info, but you should try to tab out first.
