Wallace & Gromit Episode 1 - Can't enter backyard.

I've trapped the bess in town and the frontyard. I'm trying to get into the backyard so I can drop the cheese into the shed. But when I move my mouse over the kitchen's backdoor, the game thinks I want to talk to Wallace.

    You can get to the backyard from the front yard by opening the gate by the garage.
