iOS achievements in Gamecenter (like in Steam) ?

edited August 2012 in The Walking Dead
Hello,

Walking Dead is incredible on iPad 3. A great game.

But as there are achievements on Steam version, is it possible to implement them on Gamecenter ? It would be nice.

What do you think about it ?

Kind regards,

I completely agree! I have been wondering about this for a long, long time. I own every ps3 release of telltale games except Jurassic park. I would buy all of them again on ios except for one silly problem, there are no achievements. I feel like I would be buying a less than full game. So I've been patiently waiting for telltale to update their games with the same achievements they have in the ps3 ports...

you count achievements as part of the game?

the achievements are the most basic and meaningless achievements anyway, as in completed chapter 1, completed chapter 2 and so on

    Hello,

I have checked the achievements on Steam, and it's true that achievements are really basic. But anyway, I like achievements, even basic. You can check your progression in the game, compare it with your friends.

For me, it is essential, and I think that I'm not the only one.

And via the Gamecenter, I think that it give you more visibility.

    Regards,

Note, I mentioned my problem is silly.

I love achievements, but the steam achievements are the lamest you can think of.

I get why you can't pass out achievements based on your decisions (saved him not her) because it would be a major spoiler.

But you could have achievements based on your behaviour and award philanthropism / egoism / being sincere / whatever / in your choices. That might tell others about the style of your gameplay and encourage replaying the game.
