Anyone else think Kenny is more Duck than his kid?

I don't know what it is about Kenny. The first time I played episode 1 and 2 I just did not seem to like Kenny. It seems to have started at the beginning on the tractor. I never poke fun at children but the little boy seems to be a special child. The boy sure does have a lot of energy. Anyway at the tractor I always want to help the kid doing the labor on the fence. When the zombies hit Kenny rushes to his boys aid first "what is fine since its his son" what I don't get is instead of putting Duck down after the rescue Kenny decides high tails it out of there leaving Lee to save the boy doing the labor alone. Clearly Kenny must have been worried that his kid Duck was going to jump back on the tractor and play during the zombie attack so he felt the need to run him to the otherside of the property.

After all that Kenny seems pretty standoff ish when he offers a ride to Lee and the little girl. Almost like he knows he made a childish decision but he is not man enougth to admit it.

As the game goes on Kenny tries to scream, shout, kick, and moan his way to being a leader. Then on top of all that he picks up a block of Salt and drops it on the big guy. The same big guy that was working on the fence back at the motel as Kenny sat in his lawn chair and bitched and moaned.

Right before ep2 ends Kenny stops Lee and pretty much looks for a hug because he felt bad for dropping a salt block on the big guy.

I can't figure out what this guys deal is. I clearly think Kenny more Duck then his kid Duck.

Does anyone else share the same impression of Kenny?

i dont blame kenny for running with his kid after the tractor part, if he could have done anything lee could have aswell, i place more blame on lee than kenny, but of course considering nothing could have been done there is no blame for anyone, and of course he feels a bit bad after the meat locker, but he did what had to be done.

Kenny seems to be have his heart in the right place but is also too hotheaded (gets punched out if he does actually try to hit larry/wants to take over the dairy/wanted to smash the locks off without thinking, he seems like the guy who would get people killed in real life (Lilly picks up on this too), either way an overall goodguy if not a little stupid at times (calls out to a guy bent over, bloody, making zombie noises when they arrive in Macon for the first time). Lilly is definately a smarter leader, with mitary training, although a good protector, I reckon she lives by "you fall behind, you're left behind" either way they both are pretty on edge and need to see the bigger picture, working together is key, I'm hoping Lee cracks some skulls and sorts the group out (especially if you went for the renegade story aka kill everyone, as you know, everyone trusts a guy who shoots, stabs and electrocutes people...:p

I didn't like the fact that I had sided with Kenny in total loyalty but when I didn't give his kid food immediately, he didn't want to offer me a ride anymore. That seems a little over the top.

OR the time when you don't side with him in the drug store OR the time when you side with Lilly in the meat locker.
