Did Mountain Lion break my game?

edited August 2012 in The Walking Dead
Upgraded to ML, and when I try to load the Walking Dead app on my laptop it freezes on the first loading screen (where it just says The Walking Dead in the center of the screen and you have a scroll bar on top telling me to go to the website for all the latest news).

And if it is Mountain Lion that broke it, will there be a patch for this soon?

EDIT - It also tells me that ep 2 is available for download, and to visit the Playstation store. On my laptop.

Don't know to much about MAC's so I am not sure it this will help but maybe try re-installing the game. I played games after an upgrade on windows even after installing windows patches make games not run but if I re-install most of the time fixes the problem.

Why not try that but if you have save games make sure you back them up.

Hey hey! I upgraded mine to mountain lion and the game isn't broken for me. I tried looking for a solution for you, but came back empty handed. Of course, I bought the steam version so if you bought it from TTG it could be broken, who knows. Good luck getting it to work!

edit: I also want to agree with jpg above me, back up your save files before doing anything crazy.

Changing the preferences erases your save game no mater what you did.

Compatibility, I was trying to make the gameplay less twitchy on higher settings and savegame got erased every time. Even if I changed it back to the original.

    it's a bug report it...

changing graphics shouldn't affect your saves

as that would be retarded game design..

It\s not graphics, only compatibility mode trough properties.

So, should I report this or chuck it as something that happens if you try to mess with things we do not comprehend...

If you have Mountain Lion, you will have to change Gatekeeper settings to allow downloaded applications from anywhere.
To do that, go to System Preferences, then Security & Privacy.
The setting is in the "General" tab.
