Lilly Caul's past?

edited August 2012 in The Walking Dead
In the walking dead game we supposedly learn Lilly's back-story, but in the preview of Robert Kirkman's new novel coming out soon, The Road To Woodbury (also set in the comic universe) it has a completely diffrent back-story of Lilly. Am I the only one to notice this?

Nope and it has already been submitted to the team question thread. Next chapter of the game should answer some of our questions.

As in we are pretty sure they visit Woodbury and get some things answered.

But her father is apperently a completely different man? Are you telling me we're going to get some lame "larry really wasn't her father answer?"

Hard to say, that's why we can only wait. Don't think Kirkman would lie to us like this .. or would he ?

is it really that hard to believe ?

larry could be lilly's step dad or biological father... and cos he dies in the game she some how finds other 'dad'

It's not really about her dad, but which is the true canon to the comic.

Hm. I'm thinking that Telltale has limited to no contact with Kirkman when determining what's canon and what's not.

We wouldn't be having so much problems, if that was true.

According to the Wikipedia (not a completely reliable source)
Lilly's "father" in the novel "Road to Woodbury" is called Everett Ray Caul, and was killed when the zombie apocalypse just started. He saved Lilly by locking her in a bus, but died himself.

    Alternate Reality?

    Domestic partnership, duh!

I suppose this means the game is no longer canon.

In the event of a contradiction, I have to go with what's written by Kirkman.

this book could continue on from where lilly leaves the game and she finds 'everett' (also thats lee's surname right ?) oooh lilly got 'daddy issues' if lee romances her ;)

... Has anyone here actually read the book, or we just taking the info out of wiki.. that may or may not be true ?

Well, I still wish one of the devs would get on here and post something on this. I've asked a couple times and the questions forum and have no gotten a response.
