Episode 3 preview: The gun shot

i did a brief skim through and couldn't see any other posts on the ep2 preview of ep3.

And in another thread about clem killing lee..

not sure if you nice mods will keep this seperate.

Anyway to my point..

In the last few seconds of the preview lilly is screaming and shouting about the group can't let anyone person mess up things for the rest of them (not exact quote)

i wondered if the gunshot could be from clem trying to get some peace and order to lilly's ranting by shooting in the air ?

or is it one of the new survivors we meet..

or doug farting

or duck dropping a gun

or carley shooting her self

    Doug is gone. Forget about him. We need to look to our own survival, three more episodes and another season. There will be no other playthroughs till then.

    why not explore the game on the other save slots now, incase of 'unforseen consequences' ?

    ok i did the same and kept that save clean and un changed

    but i also did the other stuff, as i knew i'd get spoiled on here if i didn't

    I dno what to do, im happy with all my decisions more or less but I dident stop clem from eating 'meat' I don't know if I should continue onto the next one with her having eatan the 'meat' cos it wasent so much a choice.

    I put copies of my original game in the other slots after reading about people who had corrupted saves...just in case. The game has worked perfectly for me but I can't take the risk. Anyway, I made the call, not going to change anything, bring on the consequences of one playthrough (with two backup copies).

    Back on topic, The gunshot sounds like it came from a glock to me.

    Maybe it wasn't a gunshot at all, maybe it was a door slamming.

    A long time ago back when I had just completed episode 2, my initial thought was that Carley commited suicide but I don't know anymore. The gunshot or door slam is just too vague and may be out of sequence with the actual episode events.

    I saw a achievement/trophy with someone getting aimed on (Carley i think)
    So it could be that

    I thought the gunshot was just sound-effects for dramatic flair. I didn't think it signified or foreshadowed anything. IDK

    Not on steam....yet. Last time, steam updated their tropy section I think it was a day or two before e2 was released.

    Hmmm...that does look like Carley. If she puts back on the outfit she was wearing in e1.

    We know that Lilly is safe for the game, but it would not make sense if it was Carley. Even if people chose Doug, the achievement refers it as "she". I'm still betting on a new character for this purpose. Good find, though.

    True and the gunshot will probably will be at the start of the episode

    lilly can get shot but not die and be taken away or left behind

    but if she does say good bye then maybe a friend of hers turns up and she leaves with them.

    Maybe it's Lilly sniping Linda the bandit. The trophy sure looks like Carley though..even looks like it has a pistol in the right hand.

    or he turns and katjaa and duck try to stop everyone and you have to decide to push past or reason or let it happen and deal with the results...

    then again he seems fine in the preview ;)
