Debating if this is at all like the Walking Dead Escape in San Diego.
Were you at Comic Con? I would have done that, if I had finished my training. Walking Dead Escape and Run For Your Lives I think are more like gauntlets, this is more like a nice amusement sequence. From what I know of Run For Your Lives (and Walking Dead Escape said it was the same thing), you have flags that the zombie actors try to steal. If you make it to the end, you win. If you place, you get some cool stuff.

I'd do it, if I could run more than a mile.
Yeah. Despite being poorly administered, the Escape was fun. One thing that was weird was when you got infected, at the end you step into "de-contamination". Didn't make a whole lot of sense if this was canon to the comics, but...wait! Kirkman...are you planning on including a cure in the comics?
alton towers uk does something similar i did it a few years back good fun ( if you do it with friends they show their true colours like leaving you to 'die' )

What day did you participate? I went on Thursday, which was the first day, and I was able to see Steven Yeun and Glen Mazzara. I was too dumb to get a picture with them though.
I thought the course was fun too. Was hoping for more gruesome looking zombies but they were decent enough. Do you remember encountering a cargo net with 2 zombies inside? I thought that was pointless lol. Now if we had to crawl through that with the zombies, that would've been something.

I went at 9 pm on friday night. The only way you could have gotten through the cargo nets was for someone to take the bait, lol. It's kind of hard to believe that the zombies were made by Nicotero's group.

If they were it didn't seem like a lot of effort went into the makeup. I wished they looked like these zombies. I would've been terrified lol.
Yesterday and the day before I went inside the maze for the walking dead at Halloween Horror Nights and I have to say it was my favorite house. It had really nice detailed scenery, (which is something I've come to expect from HHN.) which include some nice references from the show, which wouldn't dare spoil for any of you who might be going. (if you want to hear about them feel free to massage me, and I'll tell you the ones that I saw.) and very Walking Dead esque opening. The house also has one of the best "endings" (I use that term loosly) I've ever experianced for a house. My only complaint, as minor and really insignificant as it is, is that the characters from the show don't appear in the house. There were so many places where it would have worked so well, and could have been really effective in scares or misdirection, but again it is a very minor and very insignificant complaint. If your going to go to HHN this year, go to this house first. The last time I went it was a 75 minute wait, which was by far the longest wait time. When I went there, the minute I got into the park, the wait time was only 15 minutes. Over all I really liked this house, and was definately worth the hype around it.

Your use of the term "ending" intrigues me. Are their mazes linear events, or can you miss things?
Toronto has a Zombie Walk too. Looks like Zombies are becoming increasingly common themes. Emma-Lee is releasing zombie themed video on October 10th. The trailer is here: http://youtu.be/DPkseSQQ274

I'd rather see Silent Hill.

They're doing both
Both, you say? For the price of one, you say?
Hooray, it's Christmas in October and all of my friends are coming! *trills*
I definatly will be. I attend HHN every year.
