Maybe the reason..
People keep making threads about how pissed off they are about the games' release ( or lack thereof )
Is because they don't want their opinion of whats going on shuffled to a fifteen-page long thread they are pretty certain no-one pays much attention to.
Vain; your research into threads & insistence that people should keep things to the threads that were started on the subject is the general flavor of TTG.
You claim it's your "job" & that other people should do the research before they post.
I'll tell you the research I've done. I've looked into TTG & their business model.
It sucks like a black hole, & I will continue to let everyone on every forum I post know how lovely their games really are. Fanbois be damned; This game blows, & when you post things like this; you make it easy to dislike everything about this company.

" Guys, I seriously have enough of this stuff.
I have openly questioned the effect of the e-mails Cisko proposed and I will continue to do so.
Mods are thinking a lot about the "instigation to spam TTG support" issue, and where it applies. Sure you can post the relevant e-mail addresses if a relevant support issue comes up. But if you do that just in order to raise more and more posters e-mailing Telltale with exactly the same question - which is already answered to boot - then, yes, prepare to be reprimanded.
I have closed threads which were CLEARLY duplicates in the release date/ Telltale communication venting direction. None of those threads were deleted.
Cisko, keep this stuff in the release date thread. If you want to talk about THE GAME, feel free to open threads. If you have a support issue, post in the support forum. If you want to have a chat about forum rules, post in "General chat". Learn to edit your posts and multi-quote, and stop double posting. Next one of those random "me poor community member" threads in here, we'll have a problem."
Then quit your "job"
You arn't moderator, you're a forum nazi semi-empowered by the owners of said forums to edit, lock & delete posts they & you don't approve of.

The hype? suspense? frak please.
The only reason I still arrive at this board is to watch the pain, & remind myself why I tell people daily to avoid this company like the fraking zombie PLAGUE!
I honestly don't care; figure this may indeed be the final post I make to this board.
Tired of the fanbois; tired of Vainomen especially; & tired of people telling me what I should & should not expect when I enter a legal contract.
Revoloutions require someone to give a damn.
I on the other hand had ten minutes to kill this morning, so I stopped here to remind myself what bile tastes like. Happened across Cisco's post; read through enough to say I agree with him, then got to Vains.
& as usual, (except once when he was honest about how he/she felt about the release of the game) disagreed with him.
Don't mistake 234 characters or so as a revoloution.
It's a statement of belief, with no plan to 'revolt' excepting making certain no-body I can influence ever buys one of their titles "sight unseen" again.
Im sure that wouldn't have been a problem if it was done in a way that didn't violate the rules that were clearly laid out for him on multiple occasions.
Then do as I said: delete your account. You can be a guest on this forum without being tethered, you know. And that's "MISS They Gave Us An Update", d00d. You must be quite a masochist if your reason for coming on here like you do is to feel pain and disgust over and over again. Besides, even if you tell people not to come here, curiosity would usually get the better of them, come check it out, and most likely like it.
And as for your little grudge against Vain, well: you're being childish. You think you can still say he's being unfair and unjust without having lasted 10+ days in his shoes? Ever gone over such a vast forum and check over the little 100+ new posts and some threads every day not only adhering to the rules but also to check for any conflicts? I don't think so. Going by your attitude and your patience level, I'd say you be a slouch on the job.
Exactly. And acting like Vain was picking on poor Cisco because of his differing opinion. Vain gave that dude so many chances and he just kept coming back doing the same thing over and over.
And for someone who doesnt care sure took the time to come here, read through posts on the forum, and took the time to make a new thread complaining about it. Thats not something someone does when they dont care.
and then asking why people open a can of wuppass on them..
freaking morons..
Believe me, people are WELL AWARE of these opinions. There are plenty of pre-existing complaint threads, it's silly to allow every individual user their own personal venting thread which inevitably turns into an exact duplicate of one that's gone before.
Closing/merging duplicate threads (whatever their subject) is a normal part of forum moderation. Your thoughts clearly fit into the What is your opinion about Telltale thread, or the Very disappointed thread. Please use them.
