Direct from TT to Steam?

I bought the JP Game direct from TT way back when the game premiered. But I also see that Steam is hosting the JP Game. I want to somehow have the JP Game "through Steam" without installing the JP Game app in the Mac OSX applications directory. I see no way in Steam for me to be able to specify that I've already purchased the game through TT. Is there a solution that doesn't involve buying the game over again?

    There's no way to transfer/duplicate your Telltale site purchase on Steam. You should be able to add the path to the game so it shows up in your Steam library, but you won't download/install through Steam like you would with a purchase from their store.
