I was interested in it until I found out it's just a single player arcade shooter with survival elements.

Looks pretty good except for the running zombies. I LOVE walking zombies way more.

There is something scary about a heard of zombies slowly approaching with little to stop them rather than zombies running you down, IMO anyway.

I'm not so sure tbh in 28 weeks later those zombies pulled of running really well. And you would generally shit your self irl.

Looks interesting but i could not find a release date, or anything about how much it would cost. I did see that they are announcing something at PAX, so i'll check the site after thst.

It was announced in 2010 and has only been in development for two years. It's going to be a while before they set a release date.

The graphics look a bit dated, but if it's fun, I'd probably still pick it up.

That's because they weren't zombies, they were living breathing humans who've changed into enraged homicidal lunatics from a contagious virus.

This game is a watered down Day Z.

They won't speculate a release date, for obvious reasons. :D

I agree, I think the "Hope" that you can get away from walkers adds more tension then trying to run from runners. Like in TWD show when Rick is on the horse and sees a few walkers and thinks, I'm on a horse, I'm fine, then bang! big ol'bunch of Zombies around the corner and he's trapped.

Probably, Co-Op multiplayer will be added after release. I'm looking forward to this game (and Project Zomboid) because it allows you to manage and feed a community of survivors. Running zombies like the ones in 28 Days/Weeks Later are just great.
