Static sounds and FPS drops?
Hey, i was wondering if anyonelse was experiencing this problem, i'm on my FIFTH playthrough of The Walking Dead and never had this problem; sometimes when people in the game talk, it gets very staticy and i can'r understand what they are saying, and while this is happening, my FPS drops drastically. I don't know why this is happening, sometimes it is fine, and then it just starts to get really bad. (I know it is not my headphones because i tried it out of my computer speakers too, and it is just as bad, I also noted this a bit while i was playing Minecraft, please any reasons why this is happening would be awesome!)
Thanks!
Thanks!

perhaps you should also try watch a movie/dvd or listen to music to see what else it happens on.
could be your sound hardware in the computer faulty..
In that case, turn off the printer and see if it still acts up. If it does, then uninstall any software and/or drivers that came with the printer, unplug or turn off the printer, then see if it acts up.
If the computer is still freezing up after that, you may want to run some diagnostics to check your computer hardware (such as memtest).
I have the graphics setting and resolution default to the way it came, and the default to my computer, and all i have open is Skype, but I'm not using this, could this realloy affect it? I always have had Skype open whenever im playing The Walking Dead before, and the sound and FPS and graphics were absolutely fine. Thanks for the suggestion though!
Ok thank you! I will try this.
also have you defragged your hard drive ?
What does "defragged" me? And where is the taskbar i don't know how to use comp. too well. (Also, last night i deleted many old games off my computer and unistalled them)
start/windows logo / bottom left of screen, control panel, system maintenance, admin tools / defrag hard drive
basically it will move files around to free up space and remove gaps by grouping them together, depending on your spec and how much fragmentation has occured may take a few mins or a while.
ok thank you
