Question for Those Doing Let's Plays/Recording Gameplay

What are you using? I just bought a Dazzle DVD Recorder HD and Pinnacle Studio 14 but I'm having trouble getting a signal from my TV. Is anyone using one of these?

Even if I plug my Xbox directly into the capture device, I still get no signal.

I want to record from my PS3, because that's where TWD game is, but the PS3 connects to the TV using an HDMI cable. In that case I need to use the TV-Out jacks to record, but I haven't had any luck with them either.

I've posted on the Pinnacle forum, but as of yet have had no reply. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I have the latest drivers. My computer specs are:

PC, Windows XP
Pentium Dual Core 2.6GHz Processor
2046MG RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS Video Card
512MB Video Memory

    A lot of people are just using the pc version, sometimes with the xbox controller.

    I'm pretty sure I've seen at least one Let's Play on the PS3. And I know I've seen some on the Xbox. So hopefully some of those people are on here.

    I play on PS3, records with Avermedia Game Capture and plans on using a USB headset with microphone to do Live Commentary. btw the device doesnt require a PC to record
