Poor Performance on Macbook Pro

Hey folks,

So, I purchased episode 1 of the game on my iPad and it ran perfectly.

To continue my experience, I decided to get it on my Mac. But to my surprise, it performed utterly poorly on my Early-2011 Macbook Pro 15 with Core i7, 8GB RAM, and ATI 6490M. I know the graphics processor on this machine isn't super powerful but a low demanding game like this SHOULD perform well.

I tried lowering down all the graphics settings but it didn't help.

On the same machine, I installed Windows 8 (evaluation version) via Boot camp, and the game performed perfectly smoothly on highest possible graphics settings.

So, my guess is that the game has been poorly ported to Mac. Or maybe, its just something wrong with my OS and maybe there's a fix for this out there?

I am using Mountain Lion 10.8.1, btw.

I hate switching back and forth between Windows and Mac OS, so a solution to this would be appreciated.

    Actually, the problem was fixed when I downloaded the game again from the TellTaleGames' website. Maybe there was some update that I was not aware of. Anyways, the problem is fixed and the game runs insanely smoothly now. Thanks TellTaleGames!
