Famous YouTube commentators. Don't get me wrong the community let's plays that I've seen are great and get people into the game but these guys together have probably brought in 10,000+ customers into the game just playing it and telling them to check it out.

    It is the Eisner award winning comic series or the popular television series... but you're right, its probably some idiot on youtube that deserves the credit... yup

    Well from my experience the people who read the comics or watch the TV show almost don't care about the game. A lot of the people I find fans of the game don't care for the comics or show much.

    All my friends on Xbox who've bought it only saw 0-1 episodes of the TV show and ended up buying the game because they actually tried it and liked it.


    Also I said a lot not all.

    I used to think Nova was stupid and annoying but after watching his reactions and jokes it actually amused me.

    Yeah this week is going to be tons of commentators putting up there episode 3 commentary.

    (*Chuckles*) Wow, the OP reads like a shameless YouTube Channel(s) plug. No offense. Seriously though, this game's success owes it's aforementioned success to the fact that it's *a brilliant game.* Solid characters, chilling game-play, and (with the exception of using Carly/Doug as a scapegoat to eject Lily from the story) brilliant writing.

    YouTube commentators have lauded games in the past that no one has given a fig about. However, TWD Game has garnered critical praise from the Media, High Scores on Ain't It Cool, Metacritic and so forth. Word of mouth of the game's excellence is what's raised it up so quickly, not someone on YouTube who enjoys hearing him/herself talk.

    If you havnt seen Cr1ticals walkthrough of episode one commentary you have not seen any. The guy is hilarious. His name on youtube is penguinz0. Hes most well known for his QWOP game but he is HIGH-LARIOUS
