Spoilers, the women at the phamarcy

edited August 2012 in The Walking Dead
You seem to have 2 options: Let her die and get more time or shoot her.

But I tried a 3rd option: aiming at the zombies, I tried to shoot the zombies.
Kenny said it makes no sense since my shots were missing (the game makes you not able to shoot the zombies meh).

BUT later he tells all I let the women die without helping her - wtf?

So stupid....

I initially tried to shoot the zombies but it wasn't working, and the woman got eaten. So I loaded it up and did the moral thing and shot the woman. She would have suffered a lot more if I let her get eaten alive. But then Kenny got irritated that we would have got more supplies, if it wasn't for me shooting the woman and alerting the zombies. I did notice in the stats, that the larger majority of people left the woman, so maybe I made the worst choice meh.

Maybe not. I shot her too and I think I made the right choice, despite the consequences. I assumed risks. I'm sorry for Kenny.

I don't blame people that let her die either. It's a hard choice to make, that's for sure. ;)

It's a shame they didn't allow us to save her, it could have given an interesting dynamic to Lilly's paranoia if she then suspected her of being a bandit infiltrator or something

True there was always going to be consequences, but leaving the woman to be zombie chow is a fate that nobody should have to experience. I just did the right thing for my Lee. My 2nd Lee is the jerk. I'd be sure to leave her to get eaten alive next time.

I took Kenny's advice and left her to her fate. She had been bitten already if anyone hadn't noticed. I ended up getting at least 17 items out of the drug store.

    None of which mattered.

I got 16 whilst also putting her out of her misery. Kinda glad I did the right thing now, hehe

Whether she was bitten or not is irrelevant. The fact is that if you leave her, she would have had to go through the torment of being eaten alive.

Looking back, we all know the decision doesnt matter, but it's about being in the moment, when you don't know if it'll matter and what you decide to do

I was kinda petrified... just didn't know what to do. Saving her seemed impossible, leaving her to the zombies is just beyond cruel and putting a merciful bullet in her head would put Kenny's and my own life at risk. Besides that, I kinda didn't feel like murdering her, even though I knew she'd suffer much less that way. I mean, the only living human I killed thus far was one of the St. Johns brothers in the barn... and felt immediately bad afterwards, because I felt like I gave in to my temper and lost control... which is exactly what actually happened to me in that moment.

So, looking down the scope, still petrified and unable to decide on what to do, the timer eventually ran out and the girl got eaten alive while haunting me with her never ending screams while we searched the drug store for anything useful.

Man, this game really fucks with me on a mental level...

I had to shoot her, somethings have to be done and I don't think I could have lived with myself if I just let her get eaten alive like that. Same reason I let Lilly back in the van. World may have gone to shit but that doesn't mean I have to
