Episode 3 Favorite Quotes

edited August 2012 in The Walking Dead
What were your favorite lines this time around?

I liked:

Kenny, if you choose to tell Lilly that you got a lot of stuff. "We're fine, by the way."

Duck being awesome during the investigation. I told him he couldn't help and haven't replayed yet so I don't know the different options, but I loved what he said when I told him he couldn't help. "Ohhh, secrecy! I live in the shadows!"

And of course Clem and putting the bug on Duck's pillow.

As far as lines that weren't comic relief but I still really liked, Chuck's speech about there being no little or big, boys or girls, just living people.

What stood out to you guys?

Carly when she totally owned Lilly.

Which then lead to Lilly totally owning Carly.

    Story notification after high-diving Duck:

"Duck thinks you are totally awesome."

    Yeah he does.

Clem's reaction to Lee saying her hair isn't safe.

'Are you saying my hair smells? Because it does, kinda'

I'm sure there was something during the arguments at the motel that made me laugh as well.

Oh and I'll also echo the chat with Chuck was nicely done, especially with the light comic relief of him asking if Lee had anything to drink.

oh and I have to add, when Lee first met Chuck. "You're still kinda freaking me out."

I like that Clem corrects Lee whenever he swears - but when Omid swears, Lee says "Oh, he can curse and I can't?!" :P

something I just noticed on my second playthrough when Lee's boosting Clem up to look through the window at the train station: "Kenny would probably have me pick the lock, which might actually work now that we have time..."

    I liked..

Lee: did you put a bug on Ducks pillow?
    Clem: Yes! (mischevious grin)

Not a quote, but when Lee slowy raised his hand, after Christie said that "Only old white people are interested in civil war history." was just great.

Good to see Lee has not lost his smile completly.

I liked Duck in this and Lee's exasperation with him that turned into reluctant admiration. And then they go and kill Duck. :(

    Oh well, c'est la vie.

Talking to Ben while fixing the train after exhausting his dialogue options:

    Lee: "HEY BEN!"
    Ben: "Yeah Lee?"
    Lee: "See ya."

Duck: You can be the greatest detective, and I can be Dick Grayson, your waaaaard!

    Lee: ...

    Duck: That's Robin.

Lee: I know who it is!

Lee: "It's been a really shitty day."
    Clem: "Swear."

Christa: "Who else but old white guys are interested in Civil War history?"
    *Lee slowly raises hand*

And then Lee telling Clem about the time his brother put flour in his mother's tuba for April Fool's Day. Hilarity at its finest.

That was my favorite one. I also liked the "Duck thinks you are super awesome" update after the high five. And Clem saying she was thinking about dropping a hammer on Lee when she first saw him.
