Lily's reasoning (spoilers for episode 3).

I've been kind of thinking about this. Lily really has nobody left after episode 3 except for Lee. I think Lily notices the way that Carley is almost pulling you away from her and maybe subconsciously decides to deal with it by accusing Carley and subsequently shooting her in the face. Thoughts?

So then what's her reasoning if you helped Kenny kill her dad in episode 2 and saved Doug in Episode 1?

    Jealously probably!

Kidding aside, although I've only seen her shoot at Ben and hit Doug instead, my personal opinion is she snapped. Trying to shoot Ben I can sort of understand, but then no matter how you reply later she chucks you out of the trailer (Despite prior choices that should matter :/) and drives off.

Hadn't played both, but was trying to examine her state of mind, which was clearly fragile. Though even when you "kill" her dad, you pull her back while Kenny kills her dad, right? I'm not saying that it was this alone, but I think it could have been a motivating factor for shooting Carley and not Ben (as well as the confrontation).

Lilly is a crazy bitch. That's all there is to it. She gets it from her father.

Kenny may have killed Larry but he had a legitimate reason. Lilly killed Carley/Doug in cold blood with absolutely no evidence whatsoever.

If you know who she follows in the comic book series it really does kill the interactions with this character because you know she's totally unstable. She has no excuse for what she did.

That, right there. That's all there is to it.

She kills her in cold blood because she is in a fragile state of mind because, she just lost her father and just snapped. Look at Kat, she just commited suicide at the thought of having to kill Duck. Death affects us all.

Lies. She has her reasons! It's either Ben or Carley, it is really that simple. Kenny and his family have too much at stake, Lee's the one who found out and so.. who's got to be? The kids? It's either Carley or Ben and they were directly responsible for Duck being bitten and almost getting the group obliterated. Yeah I see a threat there. In fact much bigger than Larry having a heart attack.
Kenny ruined his group, his family's lives and his own. If I were him I would've put a bullet in my brain.

Ben's been with the group for a week and already supplies were getting stolen, he was on watch but didn't bother to warn anyone about the bandits, making him the No.1 Suspect, she knew that but used the traitor excuse for her own personal feelings, notice she doesn't accuse Doug. She had no proof, no evidence and is already thinking of kicking people out with Carley being her main target. Her only reason to kill Carley was because she called Lilly a coward which she was right to do so. In the end, it wasn't about catching the traitor for her, it was more of a cover so she can act crazy and take her anger out on someone.
Kenny ruined his group, his family's lives and his own. If I were him I would've put a bullet in my brain.

Did Kenny keep everybody at the motel? Did he gun down an innocent person and left the group for dead?
Lilly ripped the group apart and ruined their lives with her reckless decisions, to top it off, she thinks she's obligated to take lives. She should kill herself but then again, she can't because she's an evil manipulator that knew what she was doing and she's a great actor too.
