Do you think we'll ever run into...

edited August 2012 in The Walking Dead
Do you guys think we'll ever run into the people from the car that we did or didn't take the supplies from in Episode 2? When the trailer came out, a lot of people figured the bandits at the motel were the ones, but that came to not be true.

    You never know!

We're too far away now. They were either bandits or killed by the bandits.

    Maybe we already have.

I think it's Christa and Omid. They know it's you if Clem has the hoodie, otherwise they don't. This might explain part of Omid's reaction to Clem in some context since they had a hoodie for a kid he'd be like, "what a coincidence we used to have a hoodie that would've fit her," or he'd be thinking, "that kid's wearing our stuff these A-holes stole from us!"

Remember the car was out of gas. I predict that they came back with some gas, saw their stuff gone but had no option but to drive on. They said they were on a road trip so they should have had a car right? Well were is it? Maybe it ran out of gas again and they were hoping to get some out of the tanker? It would explain why they were there by it, and what they were arguing about, "Do we leave the car behind and go with this group?"

    Actually, that does make sense.

Wow, it does. Do they actually react to seeing Clem in the hoodie?

I agree that it's a possible and quite plausible option. It would also up the impact of the choice at the end of episode 2.

Not specifically that I recall, but it could effect the context of somethings.

For example, why Christa is intent to talk to Clem alone, her first question could be (if Clem has the hoodie), "That's a nice hoodie, were did you get it?"

I think the owners of that car were in the zombie horde following the train.

I always thought the car belonged to Jolene, since the hoodie is Clemmy's size and Jolene had a daughter that looked around Clemmy's age. The car had supplies in it, Jolene knew about the deal, and the bandits attacked the farm due to their shipment going missing. I do like the Christa and Omid theory, too, though. It would explain some of the contents of the vehicle. Who knows? :D
